A Guide to the Annual Nazi Party Congress ("Parteitag"):
The "Reich Party Congress of Honor" in Nuremberg, 1936

Compiler's Note: This guide was prepared using Hanns Kerrl (ed.), Reichstagung in Nürnberg 1936: Der Parteitag der Ehre (Berlin: Vaterländischer Verlag C.A. Weller, 1937), which was the official yearbook of the 1936 Nazi Party Congress.  The volume Der Parteitag der Ehre vom 8. bis 14. September 1936: Offizieller Bericht über den Verlauf des Reichsparteitages mit sämtlichen Kongressen (München: Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf., 1936) was also consulted.  The location of speeches in the sources are listed after the respective speaker's name.  In addition, we have listed the speeches given by Adolf Hitler that have been reprinted in Max Domarus, Hitler: Reden und Proklamationen 1932-1945, Band I: Triumph, Zweiter Halbband 1935-1938 (Wiesbaden: R. Löwit, 1973).  Hitler's speeches were not reprinted in their entirety in either the yearbook or in Domarus, but they were reprinted in complete form in Der Parteitag der Ehre.  Complete versions of Hitler's speeches alone may also be found in Reden des Führers am Parteitag der Ehre 1936: Sonderausgabe für die Wehrmacht (München: Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf., 1936).
