OTHER EXPENSES

Travel - $10K  Our main goal for the first year is a trip to Germany which will cover a number of cities for a detailed study of archives and historical sites.  Later we want to visit Moscow in Russia; Beijing in China; and Tokyo in Japan.

Foreign Offices $30K  For the second year we would like to establish two of  consultants in Berlin and Tokyo on a permanent basis.  To keep costs under control and make efficient use of donors’ money these “offices” would be modeled on the “stringer” system of many major newspapers.  We would supply top quality computer equipment, internet access (preferably broadband), a post office box and some other expenses for scholars to operate in an efficient manner out of their homes.

Office Expenses (Telephone (particularly international calls, fax, courier, and computers) - $10K

Legal Fees - $15K  We have one of America’s leading law firms as our corporate counsel.  We try to make sure that we are following all regulations.

Accounting Fees $10K  We have a nationally known accounting firm that specializes in non profit work as our accounting firm.  Project will be closely monitored to make sure money is spent as promised.
